Scott Nicols was never going to get away from the floor business even if he wanted to. His childhood pictures, shown off at times, prove he's been working with wood floors his whole life. Every floor system that Jeff worked on, Scott in some fashion has had the same experience. They grew in the industry together. With the highest profile of competitive basketball floors installed by Pacific Floor Company, Scott has run every project. He has maintained a high level of respect for his ability to deliver the quality that Robbins expects from their selected dealers. Scott believes that delivering the best floor to each client is a must. It takes years or experience to understand what it means to build a quality floor that has to perform for the next 30-40 years.

Mark Herthel has spent many years building. He has built everything from churches to schools. In 2002 he decided he wanted to join Pacific Floor Company. Having seen it all, it was time to take his interest in the athletic floor business more seriously. Mark and Scott worked together building a client base that most envy. Marks years of building experience and attention to detail positioned him well in growing a large list of new flooring projects. Soon his MFMA and Robbins knowledge helped him to land the most state of the art practice facility in Los Angeles for the LA Clippers. The Clippers training facility was just one of many high profile projects. If the industry has a "go to" guy, it's Mark. He has provided the specifications for the New Pauley Pavilion, Bren Center in Irvine, and many others. His knowledge in the athletic flooring industry is second to none….just ask his clients.

Charles Glenn is the newest member of the Pacific Floor Company team. However, that's not to say he hasn't been well trained and experienced. In 2007 the company needed another team member. The times had changed and new blood was welcomed. Charles brought his years of sales and marketing style to the company. Attention to detail is a priority along with the attention to service from his previous career. Charles has specialized in floor designs that tend to be large and bold. He has also found a niche in developing very high quality dance floor systems. Tuning and preparing the best dance floor systems has been a nice addition to the Pacific Floor specialties. Charles believes that gymnasium floors, portable basketball floors, performing arts, and fitness flooring are all equally important in representing Pacific Floor Company.

Jeff Nicols has been in the hardwood flooring business since 1959. Jeff acquired knowledge in the athletic floor business after spending many years working with his father. While starting his business with his wife of many years, he has seen every kind of athletic floor surface. He developed a stable company and a sound reputation in the sport flooring industry. Robbins Sports Surfaces approached Jeff more than a decade ago to represent Robbins in Southern California. With this relationship, the company he and his wife built had the best floor system on the market to install. Jeff and his wife Linda involved their son every chance they could throughout his younger years. Years later, the structure was set and their son would be given his chance to take control. Scott Nicols has run the company for the last nine years. It has been a family business from the beginning and the old fashioned quality of workmanship and values still remain.
